Almanac is a daily reflection app operated by an independent developer. This policy explains how the app handles your information and how to contact us.
What the app does
Almanac is a daily reflection tool with no account. On-device rules compose a prompt and short verse. You can choose one Try and one Skip, add an optional intention, seal the leaf, and record a later reflection.
Information kept on your device
Almanac stores your daily leaves, choices, any intention you write, reflections, language and appearance settings, and whether you have completed the introduction in the app's local storage. A randomly created value on your device helps keep each day's content consistent for this installation. These records are used to show your daily leaf and folio; Almanac does not send them to the developer. Avoid writing sensitive information that you do not want stored on your device or in a system backup.
Network access and permissions
Almanac's daily features work without an account or internet connection. The app does not use advertising, analytics, or cloud AI services. It does not request access to your camera, photos, microphone, location, contacts, or notifications.
Retention and deletion
Your records stay on your device until you clear them, uninstall Almanac, or your device removes the app's data. “Clear all daily leaves” deletes saved leaves, choices, intentions, and reflections, then creates a fresh leaf for today. It keeps your language and appearance settings, the local value used to compose daily content, and the completed-introduction setting. System backups or device migration may keep separate copies; manage those through your device settings.
Export and sharing
When you choose “Copy folio,” Almanac puts your saved leaves in readable Markdown on the system clipboard. If you paste that text into another app, that app may handle it under its own privacy practices. Almanac does not automatically share your folio. A copied folio is not a restorable app backup.
Children
Almanac is not designed specifically for children. It does not ask for a child's identity or create accounts.
This website
The language switch on this website remembers your choice in your browser so the pages open in your preferred language.
Changes and contact
We will update this page if how Almanac handles information changes. If you email us, we receive the address and message you send so we can respond; your app records are not included unless you choose to share them. For privacy questions, contact CercyServello4757@outlook.com.
